New Kate Moss exhibition shows her first ever shoot as 14-year-old

Never before seen photographs, taken on Kate Moss's first ever photo session by photographer David Ross, are being shown at a new exhibition in London. Moss, originally from Croydon in South London, was discovered by Sarah Doukas of Storm model agency. It was Ms Doukas who hired Mr Ross to take the photographs of Moss, then a new discovery at the age of 14. On October 26, 1988, he shot three rolls of film of the future supermodel as test shots for the agency, weeks after she had been scouted at an airport. "Well she certainly had an attitude about her, but she was a teenager and all teenagers had an attitude," recalled the photographer of his first meeting with the model.
